Our Vision
To be committed to the continuum of clinical education for all health clinicians, offering comprehensive, evidence based and up to date Information, Education and Communication (IEC) in communicable diseases at a state, national and international level. Especially in the fields of HIV, Sexual Health and Viral Hepatitis.
Mission Statement
The HIV & HCV Education Projects has established working relationships with key stakeholders in designing, developing, implementing, delivering and evaluating comprehensive clinical education.
To maintain this benchmark of excellence the HIV & HCV Education Projects continues to:
• Develop sustainable networks within the wider community of HIV, Viral Hepatitis and Sexual Health Medicine
• Provide expertise in training and resource development in the areas of HIV, Viral Hepatitis and Sexual Health
• Include consumers and clients in all levels of education development, implementation and evaluation
• Develop best practice for monitoring and evaluation frameworks in HIV, Viral Hepatitis and Sexual Health
• Maintain staff that are knowledgeable and skilled in communicable disease education
