Sexual Health Man

The Sexual Health Education Domain has been operating since July 2002 and over this time has developed a reputation for offering comprehensive, evidence based, up-to-date education activities for medical practitioners and nurses.

Two courses are offered as part of the Domain:

1. Education Course in Sexual Health for General Practitioners which is conducted over a two day period and is open to medical practitioners with in interest in sexual health
2. Education Updates in Sexual Health for Sexual Health Nurses which is conducted over a one day period and is open to nurses working at an advanced level in sexual health

The program is overseen by an add hoc Advisory Committee, consisting of medical and nursing specialists in sexual health who regularly review content and skill development based in the courses and who provide a cross discipline approach to the development of course material.

Method of education is, as much as is possible, case based within a problem based learning format.
