QCIDD provides the following clinical services at no cost to Queensland adults with intellectual or developmental disability who are 17 years and older:

  • Comprehensive health assessments
  • A psychiatric assessment service
  • Telephone/email consultation services, including behavior support consultancy

Please see attached information about our clinical service. The Clinical Information Brochure provides information about how to make a referral to our clinic, clinic location and what our clinic can and cannot provide. Please be aware that waiting times for appointments can be lengthy.

Telephone and E-mail Consultations

The telephone and email consulting service is available during working hours Monday to Friday.

Calls and emails are regularly received from all over Queensland from families, carers, and support workers.  We also get calls from registered nurses and people from various organizations.

We encourage General Practitioners and related health professionals to contact the Centre at anytime during the week.
